We lived, we laughed, we were loved.

“Children are the sum of what mothers contribute to their lives.”
— Unknown

I can love my children with the whole of my heart because that’s the way my mother loves me.  We had hot meals for lunch, family dinners every night, clean clothes on our backs, toys to play with.  We had a wonderful childhood with everything we could have ever wanted, materialistically and emotionally.  We may not have had the biggest house but we had a home filled with love because our family was the most important thing to our mom and dad.

And now we’re all grown, becoming people who are reflections of what our childhood was: we’re loving, thoughtful, kind.  Family is our priority because we were taught that it should be.

Happy 27th, 29th Birthday, Mom!

Thank you for being exactly who we’ve always needed you to be.
